Freedom Futures is guided by the unwavering commitment and resolve of Harriet Tubman to free enslaved peoples from across the Confederate South.

She was a Union Army operative and strategist that led more than 70 enslaved peoples to freedom from the South to the North before the American Civil War through a network of safe houses, churches and homes known as the Underground Railroad. Harriet never lost one enslaved person on the journeys. 

Freedom Futures aspires to move with the same determination in our efforts to unlock resources that aid the liberation of oppressed peoples.
